Assisted
Living Program at Golden View Terrace
Seniors who
like to be as active as possible while enjoying the social life
and various programs offered, but who need assistance from time-to-time,
will benefit from our licensed assisted living program. Our trained
support staff can assist with a variety of everyday living tasks
based on the needs of each resident and the personal care plan
that is developed.
The Assisted
Living Program includes all of the same Apartment features and
services as Independent Living, plus personal care and assistance
services.

Level 1
|
Daily
monitoring and limited assistance with medications, bathing,
dressing, personal laundry and scheduling medical appointments.
Frequency of assistance is generally limited.

Level 2
|
In addition
to all Level 1 services, additional assistance with dressing,
hygiene and grooming, bed-making and apartment tidying,
assistance to meals, nutritional intake monitoring, incontinence
management and other services as needed and indicated in
the personal plan of care.

Level 3
|
More
frequent assistance with grooming, hygiene, bathing, dressing,
assistance with mobility and toileting, assistance to meals,
assistance with incontinence and other services as indicated
in the plan of care.

| Level
4 |
Level
I – III cares with an increase to one-person assist the
majority of the time. The resident is a one-person assist
for all personal care, dressing and bathing. Caregivers are
providing extensive assist with nutrition and meals in giving
reminders, cues, filling out menus and monitoring fluid intake.
Also would include staff redirecting and reorienting multiple
times during the day. Plans would include what will happen
when care progresses beyond the scope of assisted living. |
