HEALTH & HOSPICE
KVH Home Health offers healthcare assessment and services for housebound patients. These services include:
Skilled
Nursing Services • Home Health Aide Services
Medical Social Worker • Speech Therapy
Physical Therapy • Occupational Therapy
Referral for
Home Health services can be made by a primary physician, family
member, friend or by the patient that is in need of services. Upon referral, Home Health arranges
for an in-home assessment visit by a registered nurse or physical therapist. This assessment
will determine if all of the patient's healthcare needs can be adequately met within the home environment.
Once a patient's eligibility is confirmed, Home Health services are coordinated
by a Registered Nurse in consultation with the patient's physician.
Who
is Served by Home Health?
Services are available to adolescents and adults who
reside within Klickitat County. Patients are eligible if they are housebound with an acute
or changing medical condition that requires
nursing or physical therapy services, and are currently under the care of a physician. Home Health services are always provided under a physician's
written treatment plan, however, your physician does not need to be
local, and they may be associated with any hospital in any state.
Home Health services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid
and many insurance plans. The patient is responsible
for the balance of services not covered by their health plan.
Home Health staff continually evaluate their policies, procedures and services
to ensure that the patient receives the highest quality of care. KVH Home Health
services are Medicare Certified and licensed with the State of Washington.

SERVICES
Home Health also offers Hospice Services for patients and their
families seeking terminal care and support. Learn more about how

The office is open Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
