Spiritual Care

Comfort in a time of Struggle

The KVH Spiritual Care department supports patients and family in all spiritual aspects of care and healing. This includes end-of-life issues and planning. The Spiritual Care department also works with the KVH Hospice team during the hospice period and after the loss of a loved one. We over bereavement service which include counseling, officiating at memorial events, and helping to coordinate family transitions.

Complete patient care - including spiritual care - has always been goal at Klickitat Valley Health. After hospital renovations and expansions forced the need to convert the old chapel space into office space, KVH was proud to dedicate the remodeled space back into a chapel for its patient community in 2018.

Klickitat Valley Health’s Interfaith Chapel is open 8 a.m to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is also available for after-hours use as needed by patients and families. The chapel is for all patients, families, visitors and staff who wish to have a quiet moment to pray or meditate.

If after-hours, please visit in the Nurse’s Station in Acute Care or Patient Registration in the main hospital for access.
