Our expert pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and nurses as your personal infusion team offer a wide range of medical infusion treatments so that you can receive compassionate care close to home, which is especially helpful for infusion patients who sometimes require this care several times a week or even daily.

What is Infusion Treatment

Medications, fluids or treatments are given directly into a patient’s veins through a peripheral intravenous (IV) line, central venous catheter (CVC or PICC) or implanted vascular access device (port). We offer specialized medications for chronic conditions as well as hydration, antibiotic therapy and certain types of injections.

What To Expect During Treatment

The infusion process can take an hour or more, depending on the medication/product. During this time patients relax in one of the comfortable chairs and are welcome to use our free high speed Wi-Fi connection. The KVH team of highly skilled nurses is committed to creating the best care experience for our patients.

How to Initiate Treatment

  • Have your order and exam documentation faxed to 509.773.3354.
  • The KVH clinical team will review the order and process treatment approval with the patient’s insurance.
  • Medications will be ordered and patient appointment will be scheduled.

Adult and teen infusion services are available at the KVH Infusion Center. All treatments must accompany a referral, order and recent history/physical exam from the patient’s provider. We provide infusion services under all licensed providers in the state of Washington, directly working with the ordering provider to provide specific individualized care.

If your provider is out of state, KVH will collaborate with your ordering provider to arrange reception of care.
