OUTPATIENT TESTING HOURS
Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday 7:00 AM – 12:00 noon
Some tests require special patient preparation. Please check with your physician or the laboratory for any special instructions that may need to be followed prior to your test procedure. The most frequent preparation required for laboratory testing is patient fasting. Please continue to take all medications unless your Provider instructs you to skip them for testing. Avoid smoking, chewing gum or exercise prior to your tests - these can affect digestion and in turn affect test results. Patients with tests that require fasting should not eat or drink anything other than water for 12 to 14 hours prior to collection. Common tests that require fasting include:
• Lipid Panel
• Fasting Glucose
• 3 hour Glucose Tolerance Test
